RUMMAGE SALE - BERLIN MISSION TRIP FUND RAISER

OK, Folks! TIme to start that spring cleaning! Look around and think how much better some of that junk that's cluttering up your abode would look in your neighbors house. And this year, instead of leaving the boxes on their front door in the middle of the night, ringing the doorbell and running, consider dropping it off at the church. As long as it's classy, high end stuff, we'll proudly put it out on display for you.

And don't forget to come by on Friday June 15 and Saturday June 16th. Bring lots of money so you can buy back that stuff that you'll realize you missed after all. You an also buy stuff that you want to put into a box and leave on your neighbors front door in the middle of the night...

Proceeds from the rummage sale will go towards the Berlin mission trip.

UPDATE - VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2018!

SAVE THE DATE-- VBS July 9 - 12

Groveland EFC VBS is an outreach ministry to the local community that our whole congregation makes possible each year. Here are some ways you can help us with this ministry:

Prayer Needs- Please pray for a safe and productive VBS that will bring staff and children closer to the Lord.

Staffing Needs- We are looking for 5 more Crew Leaders and 9 helpers.

Sponsor A Senegal Student- We are asking families that can, to sponsor a Senegal student for $11 to attend Christian Home Based Schools hosted by our own missionaries Amet Fall and Alexia DeSylvio-Fall. We call this outreach ministry BACK PACKS FOR SENEGAL and each $11 that we collect enables our missionaries to buy the back pack (made locally) and school supplies for one student who could not otherwise attend school. Teaching one student the Word can change a whole family.

Last year our VBS raised enough money to send 70+ student to school for the 2017-2018 school year. We would like to keep these same kids in school another year and sponsor another 30. Can you help our VBS kids reach their goal?

VBS Supplies- Joanne Scott has volunteering to be our VBS Supply Manager. In weeks ahead she will have a table set up between serves in the courtyard with a list of supply needs for our VBS. Your generous contributions help us to offer a free VBS to families of the Groveland Community.

FOOD CLOSET

The Food Closet is open the Friday following the third Tuesday every month. Donations of canned items, personal hygiene products, and household cleaning items are always appreciated. If you would care to donate any of these items, they can be left in the kitchen or call us and we will arrange to get them from you.

We can't thank the members of this congregation enough for their continued generosity and their donations of food and funds for the Food Closet, and we so appreciate our many faithful and hard-working volunteers. The Lord has truly blessed this ministry.
