Men's Bible Study - Monday 8am

Mens Bible Study at the Church

Every Monday Morning:

Facilitators: Rick Pierce and Ron Cratty

On Monday mornings at 8:30 a dozen plus men gather to study the Word of God. The atmosphere is relaxed and the emphasis is on interacting on Biblical truth. Our time together ends with prayer for church needs as well as application for our lives. Currently the men are working their way through Acts.

To Register: No registration required. All men are welcome.

Women's Bible Study - Thursday 9:30am

Beth Moore Study of Esther:

Facilitators: Barb Burman

Join us and Beth Moore in an in depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it is tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

To Register: For more information please contact the church.

Food Closet

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

James 2:15-16

The Food Closet ministry is one way for us to share our blessings with those in our community who may be having financial difficulties and need a little assistance to feed their families. This food is provided through the generous financial support of several community organizations and also from many faithful individuals who donate food and/or money as a way of expressing their love for Christ. Another source of food commodities is the Amador-Tuolumne County Action Agency (A-TCAA) Food Bank in Jamestown.

At our monthly Food Closet, our volunteers distribute several grocery bags full of both fresh and non-perishable food items to each eligible family. This distribution takes place on either the 3rd or 4th Friday of each month, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the lower-level of the fellowship hall.

We also are available to provide emergency food assistance by appointment. If either you or someone you know is in need of food, or you want further information about the Food Closet, you may call 962-7584.

Girls Club

Wednesday Afternoons

Girls Club at Groveland Evangelical Free Church is designed to share the gospel and create a safe environment while having a fun filled afternoon one day a week. Each meeting lessons of God's love as told in Bible Stories, games, singing, crafts and drama, are explored. Friendships are gained as the girls interact in the various activities and pray for one another. The girls share their thoughts and questions and maintain a personal journal.

All girls in the community in grades 3-6 are welcome at Girls Club and bringing friends is encouraged.

. . . Activities all week!

It was just before the Passover. . .

. . .so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. . .

. . . "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them."

John 13
